Esta es mi icotea llamada Lolita, rescatada de un campo de maíz en un día lluvioso; tropecé y la vi enterrada en el lodo, la recogí para lavarla y me di cuenta de que tenía una cicatriz en su concha. Así que decidí llevarla a casa, porque si la dejaba, no sobreviviría por su corta edad.
Hoy vive en el jardín de la casa y bajo la sombra de una chirimoya, con una pequeña piscina.
