Now I didn't want to share a macro image that I already took (since I haven't had my macro lens for long + it's really hard to nail a shot). So I stumbled upon an image I took of my nephew from a few weeks ago:
Now there's a few things I really like about this photo:
1- You can see me in the eye! And looking at it now - I inadvertently lined it up with the pupil.
2 - You can see fine detail in his iris.
3 - You can also see how thick his eye lashes are.
4 - I didn't realize I can get eyeball 👁 shots like this with my macro lens!
For those curious, here are the camera settings:
| Location | Peabody, MA |
|---|---|
| Year | 2018 |
| Camera | Canon 5d Mark iii |
| Lens | 100mm Macro f2.8 |
| Shutter Speed | 1/250s |
| Aperture | f9 |
| ISO | 2500 |
And as per the rules here's some proof I took the image:
I'll check sometime tomorrow and see if I have any other unused macro images to share with you guys. That's it for now and have a good rest of your weekend!
