Flowers bright in color such as the calendula, attract birds, bees and other insects and help plants reproduce. When the insects land on another flower, some of the pollen they carried from the previous plant will be spread and pollination happens.
Calendula is a plant that has been used for centuries for many purposes: culinary, cosmetic or medicinal.
It has strong anti-inflammatory properties and therefore a great remedy for all kinds of inflammatory issues: diaper rash, dermatitis, ear infections, ulcers, sore throats etc... Also due to it's anti-inflammatory properties, calendula can help fight against cancer and irritation due to cancer treatments like chemotherapy and radiation.
It can also help prevent and relax muscle spasms or heal ulcers and wounds.
Calendula is also used to improve skin firmness and hydration.
