Winter
I had a very light winter, the easiest winter I've ever seen. At the end of February, when I was already preparing to pack my winter clothes ... the Eastern Beast hit again! If you don't know what the Eastern Beast means, let me tell you. A terrible winter that came to Europe from Siberia. Romania is in the Eastern part of Europe and very close to Russia. That's how we were hit first by this cold wave.
Spring
Just when the flowers were getting ready to bloom! Fortunately, they survived the frost of -20 degrees Celsius and yesterday, after the snow melted, they raised their heads to the sun.
The place where the flowers grow
These flowers, violets, have always been harbingers of spring for me. They grow in the northern forests and bloom immediately after the snow melts. When I was a child, I used to go to the woods to see the flowers, announce home that the spring comes. On the far hills, I picked these flowers...
Violets
I love these delicate flowers. I remember not only the spring but also the beautiful childhood. I took some violets from the forest and planted them in my little garden in the city. Nearly 500 kilometres from their natural place. To my great amazement and joy, they acclimatized very well and bloom every spring. Look, aren't they wonderful?
Flower name, Violet.
In the area where these flowers grow, people call them violets. Still, I noticed that violets are different in other parts, other flowers. If you know these flowers and are called differently, please let me know.
