During a walk along the sands of the Northern Dvina, it was possible to make a series of minimalistic-graphic photographs.
The eye already clings not only to the classical landscape, but also for more abstract stories anywhere and anytime.
I photograph the graphics for a long time, but I began to do it consciously only this year. I also began to look for stories in this direction more often and to unite them in a series.
The shadows of mother-and-stepmother turned out to be something like reflections.
I had to work with the curves to achieve a pronounced sand texture in the image.
I wanted to emphasize the sandy surface after the rain.

And it was also difficult to find separately standing stems of mother-and-stepmother, since they grow mainly in large clusters.
Minimalism is not limited to some plants! On this sand, you can shoot everything that gives an interesting shape and shadow.
Gradually I begin to identify with the themes that I take pictures. One of them has already established a graphics.
