This tiny owl is made of copper and have glass eyes, only 3 cm tall. This is a souvenir from Greece i've got from one of my friends.
In Greek mythology, the owl was the sacred animal of Pallas Athena (the Goddess of Wisdom) and symbolizes knowledge and wisdom. Athena also known as "owl eyed" - the huge eyes of the owl are an expression of insight into things. From this mythological aspect, the popular belief is that the owl is wise and the saying is "wise as the owl". People often associate with witchcraft, healing, weather, birth, and death.
According to spirituality, the owl is a symbol of the soul free of karma, who is able to see clearly in the darkness. The human soul, with the open consciousness, is able to get out of his body through the crown chakra.
