This is my entry for THURSDAY MACROPHOTOGRAPHY & COLORPHOTOGRAPHY initiated by wonderful 
This is my trophy Carpenter Bee I captured last years in August 30th in my neighbor 's garden. Since then I took many photos of these bees, but they did not turned out as well as this one. They are very fast and usually prefer bell shaped flowers where they disappear within split second so it's really hard to get a clear shot.
