I found this lone clover in my yard and was happy to see it there! While many concider them as weeds in their lawn, I see Clovers as food for Honey and Bumble Bees, our very important pollinators (and who doesn't like honey??). I hope to see more grow here!
It truly amazes me how intricate and pretty flowers that most wouldn't give a second glance can be under the macro lens. I find myself drawn more and more into macrophotography as I continue to explore taking these types of photos.
Clovers are cultivated and used to put nitrogen back into the soil and as animal feed. The flowers and leaves can also be foraged and used in salads and can be cooked and eaten as well. It also has several medicinal qualities. So many uses for a plant often concidered an annoying weed to be poisoned and disposed of..
