The Dandenong Ranges is a temperate rainforest full of lyrebirds, kookaburras, rosellas and wallabies. One of my favourite things there though are the tree ferns. Nothing says rainforest like ferns. I'd love one day to sit down and get a timelapse of the fronds unfurling - coz that's never ever been done before.
