The highest point in South Africa - Mafadi 3450m above sea level - in the Drakensberg Mountains. Summited 27 April 2015
In this photo is my daughter (at the time 13 years old) and my son ( at the time 10 years and 12 days old).
It was a magic 4 day wilderness hike - two days up and 2 days down.
We started from Injastu Camp, up Corner Pass to the top of the Drakensberg Mountains, down Leslie Pass.
My son could be the youngest person to have summitted Mafadi.
We had planned this trip for two weeks before this date but the weather conditions at the planned time was too bad.
Does anyone know of other people to summit Mafadi?
