Six weeks until decision day and our couples have a long way to go before being able to reach the decision to stay married. Right now I see two couples that I think are going to make it, one maybe and two couples that are not going to make it.
For the first time this entire season, Karen actually seemed like she was in a relationship. It only took 8 episodes but she finally took her first steps in her marriage. It's a good sign but we will have to see a lot more from Miles and Karen before I'd even be comfortable viewing them as boyfriend and girlfriend. Right now I view this couple as my maybe and am hopeful that things might still work out for them.
Christina and Henry are really spiraling right now. Something needs to change for this couple and the awkwardness is becoming almost unbearable to watch. Imagine being part of the film crew and physically being in the room for all the awkwardness, yikes. It was good to see Henry stand up to Christina a bit today but he is clearly uncomfortable in the relationship still and not getting any closer to opening up to Christina. I really thought the conversation Christina had with Henry's friends would have helped ease the situation for the couple but I don't think any of the advice Christina was given rang true. End of the episode we saw Henry storm off saying he was done with this... then two seconds later we see the couple back together in the preview.
Amani and Woody are still going strong. They had a hiccup last week with pastor Cal but that seems to be behind them and the couple just seems better and better together with each passing week. I'm really rooting for them to go all the way.
Amelia and Bennett are still super cute together. I love watching them and think I would watch an entire show just about them. It's not all perfect for the couple though, with the possibility of Amelia still looming over them and we really haven't seen much intimacy from the couple yet. I view these two more as really good friends right now but I'm still optimistic they will be one of the couples that makes it this season.
Lastly we have Olivia and Brett. MY stance hasn't changed on this couple since the start of the season and it just feels like the hurdles are piling up in front of them waiting for the couple to trip over. Olivia did a good job smoothing over the finances debacle from last week but the subject still looms over the couple. Olivia also expressed major concerns over Brett not wanting to experience life with her and that sitting at home every night isn't what she wants, she also not on board with having to move into Brett's house when they decide to lvie together. On top of that we are all still waiting for Brett's dark side to show up. I just can't vision this couple staying together at this point.
