Battery

Once charged, the charge can last up to three years but no need to worry; it will alert you on your phone when the battery reaches 5% remaining. It should be noted that the length of the battery life greatly depends on the features chosen. The TappLite comes with a 6 month rechargeable battery.

Pricing

I am reminded of the saying a lock only keeps an honest person out. I am a personal believer that if a thief truly wants something they will find a way to get to it. I like the alarm sounding if it is tampered with, as a feature, even though we live in a culture where alarms go off at all hours and we have become immune to the sound. I would have been alerted via phone to go and check my belongings. I question the life of the screen reading the fingerprint after a year or two exposed to the elements, not just rain, but more importantly the glaring sun.
