I asked the cards if I'd find success with this latest endeavor to write the ghost story that's been rambling through my head for over 20 years. I've been dabbling with tarot cards for far longer, but only in recent years have a truly put forth the effort to do live readings and let go of the book of meanings and just let the cards tell their tale and teach their lessons. I use the Gilded Tarot by Ciro Marchetti , a beautiful modern deck created with digital images. It's based loosely on the popular Rider-Waite cards.
I've never seen such a positive simple four card reading.
- center, indicator: Page of Swords
- cross, lessons to be learned, goals to be obtained : Queen of Cups
- right, pushes, positive influences to strive for: 8 Pentacles
- left, blocks, negative influences to beware of: Ace of Pentacles
( I share my bad photography with ease.)
The Page of Swords I think represents this forum that pays in crypto-coins instead of just likes. I'm new to #steemit and steemit itself is fairly new. The Queen of Cups, she offers a chance to earn, if I can learn the lessons she's offering. There are promises of wealth and plenty, if I can just do her bidding. On the right side, representing positive forces pushing me along is the 8 of Pentacles. This card tells me I can literally mint coins with my ramblings. To the left, negatives to beware of, the Ace of Pentacles, I'll have to ferret out the value, work at it, keep at it and not be scared by limited success at the start.
Here's a link to one of my favorite on-line resources when I can't recall the meanings, or just want to delve deeper:

There are of course far more detailed resources out there if you look, but a quick reference is always a good thing to have bookmarked.
For clearer images of these lovely cards than my shitty little camera phone allows, I've included some links to other posts:
funny how they came up in different sizes, yet the increase in size follows the increase in meaning for me.
You can request tarot cards reads in the comments, but give me time to get to them. Yes, I need the practice and it sure does help to have someone else ask a question rather than making one up. Let me know if I can link your name or if I should just use the question in the title and add it to my tarot reading blog.
Please keep in mind I work full time plus I'm a wife and mother, though my youngest is 18 and a rising Senior in highschool, both my men keep me pretty busy. My husband does sound for local musical festivals and I assist (attend and party down) when I can. My eldest graduated last year with her LPN and works for an area re-habitation facility and is continuing with her nursing studies, but she doesn't keep me as busy as she used, she says she's all grown up now.
