This is the first tip of many (or a little more than a few - expect 10 or less) in “how-to-make-money-on-sportsbetting”. Now at this moment I haven’t figured out how many tips I have. But I’ll make it clear when it’s the last one.
The tips are not in any particular order per se as all the tips have a certain degree of importance and all work together.
These are the things that I personally do and have great experience with. However though I am no expert and I also lose sometimes - that’s the thing with taking a risk.. I am also not rich or one of these 'get-rich-quick-gurus' ;)
I've probably started betting in 2014 - that's four years ago. But putting things up this systematical is a thing I've only done for the last year or so.
#1.
I treat my betting as a company
By this I mean that I keep accountancy - it gives a nice overview. For this I use the program Excel which almost does all the math for me - this saves time AND effort. I use this to keep track of where my money is; at what bookmaker, how much money there is each place, how much money I have in total and whether I have profit or not. It’s nice to see how much money I have, so I don’t exaggerate on the amount I’m betting and if I should take a break.
Here are some photos of my accounting, so you can have a look in my ways and see what I mean. I apologize for it being in Danish - I'll try to explain. The money is in DKK.
First picture: The list of bookmakers I have an account with and how much money I have in each account (Numbers = DKK) (I alt = Total) So at the moment I have 1776DKK in total. (This is what is in the account incl. my own payments!)
I'd have to say that I've also won a lot of cash in contests on facebook and through other medias.

Second picture This is how much I paid myself. I've put in total (until now) 940DKK in my betting over the past four years.
SECOND Picture:
Third picture Own payments minus what is in the account in total. I now have a profit of 836DKK at the moment

You can also use Excel for keeping track of other betting-related stuff. But more on that later. I promise 😉
Do you keep track of your money for online betting - or would you do it?
