I City is a new development in Shah Alam just outside of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.. I believe the I stands for intelligent though AFAIK it's lacking the amenities or resources of a "smart" city but I'm sure the potential is there to transition to such a "progressive" community..
For now it boasts a spectacular array of led lighting and a very basic theme park or more like a carnival atmosphere which has no admission charge, but of course the attractions have a ticket price. The crowd was breathtaking and gives a full on Malaysian experience where the people watching is top notch. I didn't get much of a tourist vibe but I'm sure some visitors were on holiday for CNY..
Its definitely designed for kids as the pay to play spaces aren't mind-blowing by any stretch but it's a nice place to have a date or stroll around with family and friends.
There's also a, half dozen 20+ story residences and an impressive mall on the premises.. We walked our asses off and laughed at the young people in our group trying to create content which eventually became annoying.. The night ended with an awful 6D experience, the hydraulic fluids were leaking and I became sick from the fumes but all in all it was nice to get out and about..
