Mandela Day 2019
On July 18, 2019 we commemorate the Nelson Mandela Day in grand style.
Attended by 21 Earth Rangers, the event started at 01:00PM with two cartoon video presentations about Nelson Mandela.
You can watch the cartoons by clicking on the picture below.
After the first video about Nelson Mandela, the Earth Rangers had five minutes to reflect and search their inner selves for a Madela spirit.
They were brought back from their search by watching an inspiring song titled "Change the World" by Colby and Awu
Then we spent 15 minutes reflecting on the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela.
This was followed by a second video of how Nelson Mandela fought for for freedom and equality before we had a second song still by Colby and Awu titled "the movement"
P.S: Enjoy these two great songs that were produced with the support of .
is featured in the movement song and wearing a hat and a T-Shirt with SERVICE on it.
The second song was followed by a general discussion on what the young people can do to be like Nelson Mandela.
The Earth Rangers talked about the different things they will do to leave a legacy and then joined to paint their dreams in a Nelson Mandela Poster.
We were really amazed with how much change these young people want to create and a lot of them wished for world peace, unity of mankind, love and compassion and pledged to take action to realize their dreams.
At the end of the day, we had a beautiful Mandela poster that looked like this
Then we went out for some group pictures.
Happy Nelson Mandela Day 2019
