Although I don't look it very much, I assure you that my 27 year old self has 0 idea what's hott in the streets anymore as far as pop culture and what the kids are doing these days is concerned. It's a shame really, and kinda upsetting considering that I have equally as much access to the internet as them, but lately at times it feels like we're not even on the same internet.
In either case, when I do spend the extra 15 minutes to explore hastags it's really interesting to see whats trending. Today I explored the hastag #TheMannequinChallenge and hooolyy shit is it awesome!
What started in a texas high school last week by some kid who stood still in the middle of class and a fellow student said "hey! you look like a mannequin!" has now exploded into a national phenomenon.
