Well, it finally has come to pass. The FDA is now seeking justification to reclassify Marijuana and stop treating nations with legal marijuana industries as enemies of the state.

It's a short step, but one step further. Virginia continues to agitate for Federal changes to drug scheduling, but remember that the Constitution and the TREATIES of the United States are supreme law. If a domestic law conflicts with a treaty, the treaty will govern. The United States signing a treaty to import legal marijuana from, say, Israel, or somewhere, would effectively delete all Federal laws and raise a 10th Amendment issue for all remaining states with laws criminalizing Marijuana possession. There are 29 states with some form of Marijuana legalization, at the time of publication.
