What Is Rosin
In terms of concentrate, flower rosin is the byproduct of pressed cannabis flowers. I.e. squish the bud with a press, and the glory juice that spews forth is rosin. You can also press hash or hashish - this in turns creates hash rosin. Notice nothing but heat, and pressure is used to extract the potent cannabanoid juice. Non rosin extracts are extracted using either butane, or co2 gas.
Do not confuse rosin with resin. If you are referring to resin, that is a BHO product and we will discuss that in part 2 of this series.
This particular rosin has sort of a fruity diesel smell. The particular strain of hash, is Stranana - obviously some cross of a Banana strain, and most likely Strawberry Cough. A low temp dab of the stuff yielded an exquisite taste. You can definitely taste the Strawberry Cough come through.
Straight Up Clean Looking Meds
As the juice hardens, this particular strain looks like this. Not all hash rosin will look the same.
Here is a macro shot. From the color of the rosin, it is fair to guess the keif/hash they pressed was pearly white.
And here I am getting ready for a dab.
