Hey everyone and the incredible it has been a while since submitting a #marketfriday so today decided to do just that. To be totally honest I tried posting this yesterday and naturally as Africa would have it, the power went out for 6 hours and by the time it came back I was fast asleep which explains why I am posting it today. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it ;) winx.
I recently took a trip with my landlord to Parys, in the Free-State South Africa. I live in Pretoria and Parys is around a 400 km round trip, a nice scenic trip over the Vaal River
Wynand my landlord has a client who owns a nice little garden Nursery/Tea Garden and whenever we go there deliver some plants for him. What better to take some pics and submit for #market friday eh? Long overdue I do believe ;)
Here we have all sorts of trinkets from water features to windmills, this chap has just spend R15 000 on Christmas lights for this garden I can only imagine how incredible it will look at night.
He has a rather interesting business model selling everything from flowers to coffee and tea, water fountains to lights and more a real little faerie garden with a twist very nice indeed!
We popped in here on Wednesday last week, they had water outs for the last 8 hours, the Free-State is a few degrees hotter than where I stay but we were told boreholes were literally dug between 12-24 foot deep unheard of in our parts as the boreholes here reach hundreds of feet deep, I guess their massive River (The Vaal) and the high water table have everything to do with it, pretty nice as this area is prone to drought!
I trust you have an incredible weekend.
Cheer$;)
