Hola #MarketFriday friends!
I had plenty of errands to make and had to go to different stores. I had to get my Mateus Rosé wine at a particular store that is facing the Day Market. Mateus is a wine from Portugal and their Rosé has the "Original" and the semi-sweet one. This is the only supermarket in our area that sells the semi-sweet one.
After putting the groceries in the car, I decided to go to the Day Market since it was just a few steps away. Passing by the fresh veggies and fruit vendor, I saw this weird squash that had a rough skin or peel. I have never seen such squash! Have you seen one like this? The vendor told me it came from an andalucian farmer, who had been planting this for a while. And said it was just like any other squash with a sweet taste. From its looks, who knows that it is super delicious! I didn´t buy it tho.
The one that I notice in all the times of going to the day market are the rustic or local bags of all natural fibers as you can see in the image below. I couldn´t think of its usage but I thought of getting one for the beach. The only thing that hinders me is that we are only here in Andalucia during winter time as in Oct- to March of the following year. So no beaches, sorry bag! But I know I will be buying one!
