Market Friday Shops on Acushnet Ave

A post for Market Friday hosted by Hive account@dswigle, if you haven't followed her yet you should she is one of the kindest and most supportive people here on Steemit, a comment from her is like a ray of sunshine on your page.
This is the one tag and daily challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.

And this week I will join again, I took these shots around where my wife was getting her hair done at our Daughter in Laws along on Acushnet Ave in New Bedford, not the greatest of shots but unlike when I walked around NYC when I worked there, most of my walks here have bene on trails or by the water so not many markets or shops there.

I saw the pile of tires and the sign and had to get this shot thinking of Market Friday

And this is a shot of the Joe's tires, doing good business it seems but practicing social distancing

a bit further down the road I came across this building, which and i am not sure why had a sort of charm to it in my eye, so here it is in this post

I thought i had enough shots for a full post along that street, but as it happens i didn't so I will finish off with a couple of shots take from one the walkway of one of the Cove walks here

First of this Antique store, which my wife wants us to check out sometime but we haven't made it there yet

And finishing off with this shot of the Dairy Maid ice cream shop, you can see the lines setup for the crowds, and boy do they get good crowds at times, one of the times we were looking after the grandkids while there parents are working, we took them o ice cream and they suggested this place, but the crowds queued up were crazy so we drove around and found another place which had no ques and the ice cream was great, infact we have bene back to Lollys where we went to a couple of times since then :)
