Upcoming Blog Post Series - Marketing 101
Why am I doing this series?
I was lucky enough to be born into a family that were able to afford to put my through schooling all the way up to and beyond University. However I know not everyone is as fortunate as I am.
Therefore due to the amount of young entrepreneurs and people who are interested educating themselves on Steemit who come from such a range of backgrounds, countries, economic status and levels of education. I have decided that I want to give back to the community as I have learnt so much in my time here. By passing on my knowledge, experiences and insights, that I have learnt at university level and within the workplace I want to help those who may not be as fortunate as I am, as well as those who may just want to educate and better their understanding of the subject or just find the subjects interesting.
What is Marketing?
Investopiadia define Marketing as:
"Activities of a company associated with buying and selling a product or service. It includes advertising, selling and delivering products to people. People who work in marketing departments of companies try to get the attention of target audiences by using slogans, packaging design, celebrity endorsements and general media exposure."

In this series we will start from the basic principles of marketing and over time delve deeper and better our understanding of the marketing as a concept as well as how it can be used as tool to promote growth of a business and sales.
I will aim to release two or three posts on the topic per week. We will learn in a linear but engaging structure. One of the main of the benefits for me of this series is it will further my understanding and knowledge of the subject too and hopefully will improve my writing and formatting skills along the way.
The first post will be released over the next few days. Feedback and discussion are more than welcome on my posts, I would go as far to say as welcomed. If I can help just a few people better themselves and their business with what I know and what I will learn on the way then I will be very happy.
