This initiative is really going to help out the cool and amazing steemians that do a lot for the blockchain, that add value to the blockchain, that have potential to take the blockchain to the next level. Powering them up to 500 SP will give the users a new and fresh approach and the power to do more of all the awesomeness they are already spreading.

Newbies are the future of steem. There are a lot of new users that join daily. One of the things I have noticed is that getting people onboard is easy, keeping them here for the long term is really difficult. Partly because the newbiews usually do not grasp the idea of steem and/or loose both motivation and drive at the very beginning. This usually happens because many veterans or experienced steemians cannot reach out to the newbies in time and/or guide and push them up to the spotlight. This maybe because the potential of many newbies either go unnoticed or simply drown within the flood of introduceyourself posts.

Imagine how many talented steemians, bloggers, vloggers, developers we could be loosing because they didn't receive the attention and guidance when they first stepped into our community driven platform.

Heyhaveyamet is a dedicated account that streamlines into helping and shining light on the newest steemians by a rigorous process of going through ALL #introduceyourself posts DAILY, sifting for quality steemians and showcasing them for the established users to see, guide and provide a helping hand to. Somewhere between 10-20 posts are handpicked from all those posts and then featured on HHYM's posts where other steemians can help the newbies focus, learn and adapt to the blockchain.

This is a DAILY process.
So much work hours and effort is put in. Did I mention that HHYM also leaves a REAL and GENUINE comment on the introduction posts to make the users feel home and alive. I personally believe the comments is the most challenging part.

Once the post that features the newbies in up on Hive account@heyhaveyamet's account, it helps everyone find unnoticed talents, answer any questions they might have and also guide them using STEEM TERMINAL (another awesome initiative) or personally mentor them. They are also introducing businesses, organization, and dapp introductions once a week and also do a weekly HHYM Special Helpie Edition every Saturday.

I feel like HHYM is doing a great job welcoming the newbies, getting them involved with the communities and potentially providing them with a mentor that helps the newbies grow and develop. In turn, helping the steem blockchain grow better.

The 500 SP would help and give Hive account@heyhaveyamet so much more resources and motivation to keep doing what they are doing with more efficiency and also allow HHYM to bring forward more initiatives that could benefit everybody.
