It really hurts but, lets just enjoy them as they both bow out in greatness.
Cristiano Ronaldo is missing more games than he ever has done in his career. Lionel Messi is picking up more injuries than he ever has done in his career. Ladies and gentlemen, it is slowly coming to an end. Stop the bickering, stop the debates. Just enjoy these final years.
I’m honored to say I have lived to see two generations of football. The era of kaka, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Maradona etc to Messi, Ronaldo and Di Maria etc. Theres a lot to name so don’t come at me like I forgot EPL or other leagues. They are too many to name.
Agreed that Messi and Cristiano Renaldo, there both beautiful fantastic amazing players who are capable of anything and it is so sad to see the end of such a fantastic era.
We should be grateful to have experienced two of the greatest players ever in the sport play at the same time. We are likely not see their likes for a long time to come.
I have never watched pele or maradona play but I am so lucky I got to see both of them at the same time as I grew up.
This hurts me. But there is never been any debate, Messi is, and will always be a great player to ever play this sport.
