Marriage takes strength, patience, commitment and endurance. It is also a task that often ends in failure since divorces are common, especially in 1st World Countries.
So is marriage an achievement?
I would say yes, and longer marriages that last 50 to 60 years and/or until death are great achievements (this becomes obvious once you have achieved it).
