Angela Merkel is showing us again her true face. As she voted against marriage for everyone. But why is it a problem for people with the same gender to get married? Why is it so unethical like everyone says? I'll tell you my point of view about this topic.
Let's start at the beginning. What is a boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, the partner in life exactly? It's the best friend in life, or it should be, with whom you can share happiness and tragedy. With whom you can rely on in good and in bad times of life. Some may think now, but what's with my buddies/girls, they are my best friends too. Should I marry them too? No, of course not. My explanation about the best friend, the partner for life, goes very deep. So are you sharing everything with your buddies/girls? Like your mood today, how's work life, or what your beliefs are in life? Or do you share the bed with them and go intimate? I don't think so.
But here's the interesting part. Most people tend to have a partner from the other gender. Why? Because they complete each other. Women tend to be more emotional and heartwarming. The man on the other site tend to be more straightforward and uncomplicated. I know this example is not true for everyone, but it's just an example to keep my picture and explanation easy. So, as I said that the partners complete each other. There is also the possibility that two from the same gender complete each other to the fullest. They are there best friends. And this numbers are increasing when we take a look at the numbers from the past and now. Why? Because they find themselves and live how the were born and not how the community wants them to be.
Ok, back to the result. As I said that also two from the same gender can complete each other. Why is it than so unethical or wrong to get married? Marriage is a holy bond and shouldn't everyone be allowed to experience it. To tell the community, no, the world we are married, we love each other and we don't hide our true nature.
Let's bring the future into the present and be more open minded. Let everyone be free, to belief in what they want, to be whoever they want, to love and be friends with whomever they want. Who are we to judge and criticize them!
