Oh Yeah!

It's #marty-mail time, again!

Barely two months have passed since I made the first #marty-mail post. I was the lucky winner of a Hive account@steembay auction for one of Hive account@marty-art's wonderful paintings. It completely made my day back then to receive the letter and so I quickly made a little post about it. I picked the #marty-mail tag just because it had a nice sound to it, I didn't think much about it really, but now... Maarten actually made it a thing!!

I'm humbled that he decided to send me the first official #marty-mail. And yesterday I came home to find the envelope sitting on my doorstep. Luckily, the mailman didn't leave it three quarters flapping out of my mailbox like last time. I think the current weather conditions would have turned this into a very sad day!

But alas, no! Everything is hunky dory! My dear friend "Zygmunt", the Popular, but Crazy Mastermind, always wearing his Mask of Cooperative Contemplation, arrived dry and safely cushioned in two layers of bubble-wrap.

And he didn't arrive alone either, along came "Mable", the Clumsy Chaperone from The Land of Make Believe.

That all probably sounds a bit weird, crazy weird, I know. I will try to explain what's going on, but let's take a second and first admire my new homie Zygmunt in his whole glory as he's proudly wearing his Mask off Cooperative Contemplation, on my living room wall:

Hive account@marty-art organises the wildest and weirdest interactive online analogue art exhibitions you'll ever find, right here on steemit. And everyone always gets a chance to put their creative juices into the pudding, too.

And so, it was actually me myself, who had the chance to name this Vagabond: Zygmunt. It was also me who determined that he'd be a popular but crazy mastermind, albeit there might have been some randomness and potentially gravity involved, but I did explicitly decide that he'd be always wearing a Mask of Cooperative Contemplation.

But then again, that wasn't initially the case either, because Hive account@sudong had actually already named him "Zilong" and I had to twist and bend the fictitious metaverse around Hive account@marty-art's work, creating glitches in the matrix and playing my best cards to eventually give him my chosen name.

And after that, it all gets even much weirder and wilder when these crowd created characters develop a life of their own in the communally written epilogues... It's simple fun actually, but it's way too complex to explain it all here right now.

Just follow Hive account@marty-art and be there when the next event starts. I can guarantee it's going to be weird, mysterious, crazy, awesome and potentially hilarious... all in the best ways possible!!

Mable has an adventurous history, too. She had received her beautiful name from the wonderful Hive account@hazel420. I'm really proud to give her a place to hang around in good company, too.

Not only do I have an amazing little collection of Maarten's awesome paintings that I love so much, I also have a little bit of steemit history, created by some of my dearest virtual friends, at my humble home!
