First May 1886 Chicago. General strike begins for the eight-hour workday.
Forth May 1886. Seven police officers were killed by a grenade thrown to them from an unknown person from the crowd.
Thirty-eight civilians were killed by police officers the very same day.
Blood was shed the next days from the strikers.
