Hi all,
As some of you might have noticed, my regular postings have been cut short due to some unforeseen circumstances. One being the Presidential elections in the country of Suriname, where I live. In this post I will give an update on that, my continuation for Maynia, my support for HIVE-PUD and future postings on the Hive blockchain.
Presidential Elections in Suriname
As I'm writing this, 99.5% of all votes are officially in. For some unknown reason 3 voting stations in our nation's capital, Paramaribo, have yet to hand in the results through the official guidelines. The political parties however all had representative at the locations at the time of counting and the results are known to them. The party of current president Desi Bouterse has lost the elections and the opposing parties have already signed a declaration on a proposed partnership how the country will be governed as soon as a new president is sworn in. While things are slowly moving back to the 'new normal' (can't really say back to normal, since we still live in a COVID world), it did take almost 2 weeks of focusing on other things instead of writing my usual posts.

Maynia
As mentioned, my Maynia entries have kind of suffered from it, making me inactive for the second part of the month. I'm however committing to finishing what I have started. It might not be on a daily basis, but I will continue writing the chapters in June and possible July.

For the past months I have been supporting the Hive Power Up Day initiative of 
I haven't heard from 
I will once again sponsor this initiative by adding 100 Hive Power to the prize pool, granted to the winner selected by 
Initially, I would be adding a prize as well for participants that have over 8000 HP, but I haven't been able to finalize the concept and have been out of my routine for 2 weeks, so I'm keeping the idea for the July 1st HIVE-PUD.
Future Postings
As mentioned, I will continue to write my Maynia posts after May, as I'm committed to finally writing a book about the past, present and future of Social Media.
I will continue with exploring the Hive blockchain a bit more on fun things to do here and also more actively promote the blockchain on my other Social Media channels. Due to the elections I spend a little too much time on Facebook the past two weeks, which I want to tone down as soon as possible, so I can be more active here.
