I drive a 2001 GMC Sierra pickup and just figured out yesterday that the horn doesn’t work. It’s the type of horn you have to push the whole “face” of the steering wheel to get it to sound and I push and nothing. Is this possibly a fuse? Nothing else appears to be malfunctioning. I expected if there was a fuse blown there would be other “symptoms” unless the horn has its own dedicated fuse. I haven’t torn into the fuse box yet because how often do you really need the horn?
According to my grandpa you don’t need brakes if the horn works. Guess I’ll have to use my brakes for a bit. 😂
maybe you can weigh in. I saw your post about car stuff. Thanks!
