Bleeding from genital tract after the delivery of the baby is called post partun haemorrhage.It is one of the higher cause of maternal death.So one should aware about delivery process.
Cause:It has many cause to develop but among them multiple pregnacy,big baby,trauma to the genital tract by dai and if any portion or whole placenta remain in uterus.
Clinical feature:Bleeding from genital tract and patient may suffer from haemorrhagic shock.
Advice:Hospital delivery can reduce the Post partum haemorrhage.If any suspicion about post partum haemorrhage they should delivered hospital.If any bleeding occur after delivery they should go to the hospital without delay.Immediate fluid transfusion and then blood transfusion can save a life.
