4th-year medical student currently studying for the USMLE Step 2 CK portion of the exam.
The 8-week schedule is designed to be centered around one question bank (USMLE World) and one book (Master the Boards: USMLE Step 2 CK, fourth edition). The schedule is internal medicine (IM) heavy to do the large majority of IM questions on the USMLE Step 2 CK exam.
Every weekday is 8 to 10 hours of studying with half days on Saturday and Sunday. Therefore, you have 1 full day off (2*half days) per week.
A weekday starts with 2 USMLE World blocks of 40 questions each (timed) and a review of each question with annotations in Master the Boards book. I also supplement with onlinemeded videos, which are free to view on their website. The weekends are to track your progress by doing practice exam (i.e. NBME's). NBME examinations are mock exams by the National Board of Medical Examiners which consist of previous exam questions and gives you a fairly accurate approximation of your score on test day. These are available to purchase on the NBME website.
The last portion of the schedule is focused on repeating the wrong questions that were answered on the question bank previously and prepping for test day.

All the best in your studies,
