This is from 2011, when I was couchsurfing across the country... I spent my summer in Seattle, and here I was staying with an old friend... This friend is amazing unto himself, and now is on steemit, so for context I will say this: He restores old pinball machines, takes apart Speak & Spells and turns them into musical instruments, and even worked on the Microsoft Surface project, which he always referred to as the, 'Big Ass Table'... LOL!
Just prior to pressing record for this video, I had gone to a food bank and been given some potatoes... Great! We can eat homemade french fries right from the oven, I thought... I was even thinking when I cut them and turned the oven on! Right after I set the timer, I guess I stopped thinking! I found the meditation bowl and got lost in poor man's enlightenment... What I like to call BLISS...
What a funny way to learn to pay attention! I think we did eat that night... And even had more singing bowl times, and cannabis bowl times too...
In order to give you extra value for stopping by, here is one of my original songs... One of the few tunes I used my skitar on... It was a concert guitar that I had a skilled music shop add a tapered bridge to, which gave it a VERY nice sitar sound... Unfortunately it had no pickup so was a challenge in the studio... Here is Gingerbread Woman...
Artist: Craig 'CMOR' Morrison
Song Title: Gingerbread Woman
Album: Free Range Humans (2008)
Genre: UnPop
The song is about Poor Man's Enlightenment too, in the form of bread metaphors... LOL... Oh and it has a buttrock guitar solo...
Today I got the paint markers out and sharpened my pencils... New art coming soon! I have literally hundreds of ideas waiting to draw... Should I crowdsource a clone so I can get more art done?
I am making websites too! Intimidating, but I have a partner doing the code...
And yesterday I ordered my new gear, so before too long I will have my mobile studio up and running! Fits in a briefcase, yo!! I will be able to do voice-acting, narrate audiobooks, do plugs and promos for online radio, and be able to do remote video and audio documentation of events or even flashmobs... I am so excited! I want to never work in construction again, unless it is to help my community build their crypto houses...
I have noticed that the few folks who do follow my stuff really show the love!! But I could use the folks who don't follow me to show up too... My 5 cent vote should be $50, you know? I will only ever show you original stuff that I had a hand in creating... That ought to be worth some loyalty, right? I need the heavens to open and some damn rain to fall on this desert...
Thanks in advance!
