Hello steemians!

being one with your responsibility, meeting new steemians, helping them out in a movement

Its amazing how this year started for me, 2 days before new year, I was still pretty much going around, doing my normal steemit related activities.

I even traveled to port harcourt, a city 3 hours away from where I am currently based.

This movement involved 2 phases, first of which was the meeting up of my clients and work on a couple of songs.

The second phase involved me taking a trip to a steem center at the town, called the steemit accelerator hub
I never thought myself the type to get bored of a "new year" celebration very quickly, but thats what has happened.

Even as early as sunday, 7th of january, i was back online with the movement for steem.

Steemit is a revolution for me, a disruptive technology. Cryptos in general are historical, because for sure, hundreds of years to come, this moment in our lives would be remembered. We will be remembered as the pioneers that ushered in the new age of crypto technology in the world.

Steemit Campus invasion, the prequel

So on sunday the 7th of January, the same day Hive account@ehiboss, Hive account@gbenga and other members of the SIN crew left the relatively quiet town of sapele in Delta state, nigeria, I was contacted by a steemian, Hive account@jackdogho, who got my contact through Hive account@ejemai.

He and his team, of which includes Hive account@kinggolo Hive account@chrisvalentine Hive account@penauthor, were planning on doing something within the premises of the otefe branch of the Delta state polytechnic, Delta state, Nigeria.

According to myself(since I live in the state) and wikipedia(since I need a quoted reference),

The institutions are centres of excellence in Agriculture, Computing and Information Technology, Fashion Design and Arts and Sports. Besides their primary areas of specialization, all students are trained in Computing and Information Technology as well as business and entrepreneurship.

This exactly resonates with the message that is being spread by the Steemit Campus Invasion program!

To bring about an introduction, a positioning and a community of steemians, wherever people of the entrepreneural mindset, of the business mindset, of the creative mindset gather around!.

It is no surprise therefore, that representatives of the SIN crew, along side representatives of Hive account@africaunchained and Hive account@debrecords will be partnering with members of the otefe delta community, in order to bring about a blasting event.

Discussions are still on going, and the date for the event has been placed for the 4th, Sunday February 2018.

This is one of many updates that will be dropped in preparation for the event.

So finally you may ask, what is the steemit campus invasion?

Well, it is in its name, a movement to expand, open and/or create new communities of steemians in different university campuses across the country, taegeted at the entreprenueurs, the young bussiness owners, the creatives, the talented ones, the ones with vision.

We are showing them a way out, out of government over dependence and taking the growth initiative into their own hands.

We are beckoning, "HEY! YOUR LIFE CAN BE TURNED AROUND WITH BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY! YOUR BUSINESSES CAN BE LINKED TO THE BLOCKCHAIN VIA SMTS AND GENERATE FUNDS FOR YOURSELF TO HOLD YOURSELF, BY YOURSELF!"

Rather than become a wasted suit wearer looking for a job in every direction, be connected to the blockchain, generate little funds for yourself that can be channeled into a startup.

In the above therein lies the goal and mission of the entire program.

The future is bright and in the coming weeks, more announcements will be made, more campuses revealed and more movements made.
