Gathering with good and new steemian

On 7th February 2018, we had a small meetup in lieu of supporting and guiding  our new member and also future member on how to post their 1st post on steemit. And answer any of their questions since they are new on this platform.

The place of the meet is in bar, lounge and bistro, "The Living Room", Dorsett Grand Hotel, Labuan. Its a nice place for social gathering, Chill place, the perfect place to get the conversations flowing about cryptocurrency, blockchain and Steemit.

We need to educated each other and get clearer picture of what Steemit and Hive account@teammalaysia are all about, as well as our part in it as Labuan steemian as a community 1st, before the intetnational steemit audience.

This get together was unplanned. Since one of our ex classmate just got her password and she Hive account@threec was excited to do her very 1st post. At the same time another ex classmate Hive account@wilsonkoh came from Kota Kinabalu. Its like killing two birds with 1 stone.

Community in Steemit is very important for supporting, guiding and building confidence. I have seen some steemian after 3 post they tend to give up because no support from community. They felt discourge and just drop everything. I have also felt the same way. It took me 2 weeks to get back on Steemit, my wife Hive account@connie1018 just drove me back in because of her consistent support.

I feel proud of Labuan Steemian, even though we are just 37 strong members.. but we support each other; upvoting, resteeming and guiding each other. Their 0.01 upvote to me feels like 100. I really appreciate all Labuan Steemians.. this is how community should be.
