Then you are invited to the SoCal Steemit meetup!!
For this meetup we have chosen Whittier Narrows Park in Los Angeles County! The park has beautiful scenery with large trees and green grass lining the lake. There are also some nice picnic areas with tables and bbqs.
Date/Time - Sunday April 15th at 2pm
Location - Whittier Narrows Recreation Area - 750 S. Santa Anita Avenue, South El Monte CA
Directions - From the 60 freeway exit Santa Anita ave. and go south to the stoplight at Durfee ave. Turn right on Durfee ave. and the park entrance will be on the right.
We will be meeting at one of the picnic areas near theses art features. If you don't see the dragon or the dinosaur you are probably in the wrong section of the park. We will have signs to help you identify the group as well.
Agenda - This will be a picnic/bbq so we will have food available, and if you would like to contribute we will be discussing the food plan more in the #socal-meetups channel on our Discord server.
Besides having fun meeting new steemians and eating delicious food we will be discussing the SoCal Steemit group and any ideas that members have for the future of the group. And if you have any other good ideas to add to the agenda do not hesitate to let us know here in the comments or on Discord.
