Hasn't Failbook stolen enough of your life?
It's not a healthy platform. It's not even a good site. Time and again they have proven they aren't worth using, and yet people still keep going back to them because so many people they know are on there. They don't respect your privacy. They don't respect you. You are just a number to them, a dollar sign in a spreadsheet.
It's time to leave Facebook. For good. You don't have to delete it. Just realize there's no reason to really go back there. Unless you like people spreading bullshit propaganda.
It was always kinda weird how your relatives tried to make you accept their "friends" request anyway. I'm sorry grandma, you're not my friend! I don't want to see your comments on the shit I post, and I don't care about whatever old-fashioned weird ass political beliefs you have. Relatives are not friends. They're family. They're those annoying people your parents make you be nice to around the holidays. I don't want them seeing the same things I post to actual friends.
At least with Steemit, you know everything is out there in the open. There's no delusion that you're posting to friends. You're posting to the blockchain. You're producing content. Sure, sometimes it's a stupid meme and a rant, but it's content none-the-less! It's a public blog. Gonzo journalism. Opinions and facts fucking on the street corner of the internet. It's cool. Facebook is not.
Facebook is over. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Game over. Finito.
