I found some funnies over the past week! This all started when I got all social media off of my phone and eliminated it from most of my life. I don't ever use FB or IG anymore and what has happened is that I waste a lot less time and I can't remember the last time I got into a heated exchange with a stranger over politics.
These days when I have some time that I need to fill with just whatever I head over to 9gag and look at memes. At the moment the "funny" section has been hijacked with Ukraine/Russia stuff but there is still some humor to be found in there. Here are some of the winners I saw this week.
Basically every dog I have ever met it like this. They like their toys, they want you to throw their toys, the will even bring the toys kind of back to you but they will not drop said toy for you to throw again. My own dog is this way and it is a crucial part of the process that most dogs kind of don't seem to understand. It's funny because it's true.
This is probably more funny if you know Finnish people. There is nothing wrong with people from Finland, they are just very different than people from all other countries up there. We enjoy picking on them as much as possible and if you are lucky the Finnish person you are making fun of will have a sense of humor and enjoy it.
Technically not a meme, I know. There are many people on 9gag that don't like it when Tweet screenshots get put in there but since I don't even have Twitter, I would miss out on gems like this if people didn't move them there. It's nice to see that there are some people use Twitter for something other than virtue signaling and politics though. Also, now I kind of wonder if what this person is asking is true. Why just corn?
This is just silly, but it made me laugh enough that I saved it. For the record do NOT apply garlic to a wound. I was cutting garlic one day and cut myself and some of the garlic juice got in the cut and man oh man does that hurt.
I don't know if Mike ever said this or not but it does seem like something he would say. This is also very very true. Before I left FB I saw tons of people saying the most awful things to people and I knew some of them and am very familiar with how big of pussies they are in real life. They would never say those things to someone face-to-face and would be afraid to do so. I believe that social media or at least the traditional big ones are a big part of the reason why we have seen the deterioration of society. I would gladly go back to more cowboy ways where actions and words have real-life consequences such as getting punched in the face.
