In my opinion, there is a big discrepancy between what the author actually wanted to say and that what teachers and students interpret. Once after one very ridiculous class I wrote the author and asked him what he thinks about our teacher's interpretation, he was used to this "problem" and told me that I was absolutely right and that he also thinks that the authors who are already gone most probably would have said the same. What do you think ?
