Walking is one of the ways for me to go on a mental diet. Sort of a mental detox. It's my way of dialing down whenever I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed or when I can't calm my mind. It rejuvenates me, boosts my mood, and clears my brain fog.
My attention immediately shifts to the beauty around, and before I know it, I'm feeling better, lighter, and I tend to forget what was bothering me.
I was out in the open yesterday morning. Walked in the midst of overgrown weeds, grass, and such. I was lost in my thoughts when, suddenly, a flowering shrub at the edge of the property caught my eye. I quickly moved closer to it, excited like a child who had found a new toy.😁
A bee found its way to them, too! When it sensed my presence (I was trying to photograph it), it flew away before I could take any snaps. Anyway, I spent 10 minutes more there, looking at the intricate details of the pods and flowers. Accordingly, the fruits (inside the hairy pods) are edible when ripe. I didn't dare pick any, though. For me, they are meant for the eyes, not for the mouth, lol!
I left the spot and headed back to the house, with nothing much in my conscious mind but food! Funny that the short walk made me hungry. So I snacked on some sweet fudge, then made ice cream afterward. I may share more about it next time, 'coz now, it is time for my slothly goals update.
No change for HBD Savings. It will probably remain the same for a few more weeks. Saved 70 HIVE, ending week 19th with 762 (from 692 in the last update).

Sloth and steady, as they say. No rush. No stress. That's mostly the mode for this year, and I'm loving it!
