We stand in awe of Your power and might
In your light and favour we see mercy and light
As individuals, as a nation, we seek Your mercy
This is a humble plea for Your mercy dear Lord
With Your mercy and love we are able to stand
Your outstrechted arm is ever willing to help
This is why You are God and why we call for Your mercy.
The earth is full of Your goodness and wonder
Often times as human we drift off and wander
With our limited human strength we commit so many blunder
God of Heaven and of ages, show us Your mercy
Your are quick to forgive and slow to anger
Even with our selfishness You saved us from many danger
Forever and ever, Oh Lord, Your mercy linger
This is why You are 100% God and not man.
God of Heavens and of the Ages
Your throne is forever and it extends from ages to ages
King of kings, Lord of lords, the Holy One
Heed our call for mercy and shine Your light on us again
