Mermaidmonday contest duo tone

A mermaid drawn using two colors only and that is the challenge. I call this cute mermaid, Valyrea the ocean nymph. I made this drawing for the mermaid drawing contest of Hive account@nymia.aryn her post can be found here

Let me show you two in progress drawing just so you have an idea how I made this art.

I want to make a head dress or goggles maybe but that did not happen for some reason.

Then I tried experimenting with colors. My choice is a combination of green and violet then changed their values for variey and avoid getting a flat look. The edges I cleaned with an eraser and I love the sharp edges created.
