Hi again!
Today I will present a list of most influential bands in Heavy Metal genre .
First :
Band from Birmingham , England formed 1968 aka Polka Tulk Blues Band and later renamed Earth was the first of their kind haha .
Practically they are pioneers of metal . Word " heavy " has source . hippies use that word for describing something as great or above expectation . So that is how metal got name :D !!
After Ozzy left Dio came in and god dammit history was created .
Second :
English heavy metal band formed in West Bromwich in 1969. Innovative and pioneering band - aka "Gods of Metal " .
Halford's operatic vocal and the twin guitar sound of Downing and Tipton have been a major influence on metal and have been adopted by many bands. Rob Halford went to sex shop and bought some leather and rivets :D rest is history .
Third :
English rock band formed in June 1975 by bassist, singer, and songwriter Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister .
" Godfathers " of metal .
Their fusion of punk rock into the Heavy Metal helped to pioneer speed metal and thrash metal.
Fourth :
Yeah first of the greatest Trash Metal bands , formed in 1981 in Los Angeles, California , one of the " Big Four " inspired by Motly Crue , Mercyful fate , Misfits , Venom , Motorhead ... but they have had big influence on others too .
Korn , Godsmack ,Machine Head , Trivium , Adema ... Metallica was known for wearing other bands t-shirts , badges and stickers on their guitarrs . Great impact on metal .
Fifth :
First one that opened gate of hell :D haha .
Venom's second album proved influential enough that its title was used as the name of an
extreme metal subgenre: Black Metal.
Since the beginning of their career, Venom have often used 'Satanic' lyrics and imagery.
However, the band were not Satanists, and such references were mostly for shock value .
Extreme fu#kers :D
Sixth :
My favorite .
Man who got bigger then life
Charles Michael "Chuck" Schuldiner 1967 – 2001 RIP .
Death is considered to be among the most influential bands in heavy metal and a pioneering force in the metal subgenre death metal.
