The following is our first attempt at lost wax casting. The process is much more detailed than clay sand casting and allows much more detail.
The first step is casting a mold to cast your wax piece...
Once the wax piece is cast, it is time to clean up your wax copy....
Next is the long process of mixing and pouring the investment, burning out the wax and curing the mold. Here is the piece after it is cooled and removed from the investment....
Removing the spru and clean up begins....
