I don't know if you know, but I'm from Guadalajara, Mexico, like 60 minutes away from the epicenter of the last Sunday morning revolt; you may have already read about it in the news.
At the moment I am out of town; I'm on a business trip in the city of Cancun, like 1300 miles (2100 km) away from Guadalajara. So I'm safe, but my wife is at home.
I am in contact with my wife, she is well and locked up at home. The situation is tense; they recommend not going out.
There were riots in several parts of the city, vandalized shops, and clashes with the police and the army. Shops were closed, and services such as Uber Eats were totally out of service yesterday and part-time today. The situation is complicated.
In Cancun right now, the people is worry, sacare, but everything was fine, Here the situation is complex, but we are OK.

No sé si lo saben, pero soy de Guadalajara, a unos 60 minutos del epicentro de la revuelta del domingo pasado; quizás ya lo hayan leído en las noticias.
En este momento estoy fuera de la ciudad; estoy de viaje de negocios en Cancún, a unos 2100 km de Guadalajara. Así que estoy a salvo, pero mi esposa está en casa.
