Over the past years I have collected a ton of photo's ánd deleted a lot of social accounts. I'm still on twitter an G+, Insta and a few others but not many. I hereby going to explore Steemit as my new location to dump the photo's I shot and am going to shoot. I work with a Canon 5DmkIV, Panasonic GH5 and a Fujifilm X100S. The last I take the most "regular" photo's with. I'll tag the camera used per photoset.
Below a couple of images that I shot the same night as the Mexico City earthquake with the Panasonic GH5
For a work assignment i flew to Mexico City and 1 hour before the flight the attendants announced the earthquake. Our hotel was located in the area that was hit the hardest and we were in the middle of the resque operations that same night
Because of the danger that more buildings could collapse the trucks to move the fallen concrete were kept at a distance of the collapsed building. Dirt was moved with human chains with buckets.
Al the help was not coordinated, the people of mexico just did what they had to do. To see that was a mindblowing experience.
To help I shot a 360 platform the next day at which you can see how incredibly coordinated the humanitairian help was structured. Again without any help from police or military.
