#IndiaIntroduceitself - Astonishing low public expenditure on health and poor government doctor patient ratio in India may not be an eye opener for many indians but must be socking for the world community. Latest national health profile data has revealed that India spends far below than Singapore on heath sector which has the lowest public spend at 2.2 percent of GDP. In the poorer states like Bihar the picture is still grim as there is a whooping shortage of doctors and only one doctor has to suffice for as many as #28,391 people.
Well aware of India being in the loop of heath trouble Modi's government has taken a note of this and launched a Ayushmann Bharat Scheme.
This will cover over 10 crore (10,00,00,000) poor families and provide annual health cover of Indian Rupees (INR) 5 lakh per family.
How far this Ambitious scheme succeeds in changing the present health scenario of india is a question hanging out with no answer???
Let us wait and give time Modi's government to show its performance on this front too.
