Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper, while speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony of the first ODI against England, didn’t totally rule out the possibility of playing both the wrist spinners in the Test matches. Kuldeep Yadav has placed a strong case for himself with this kind of matured bowling efforts and it remains to be seen if the selectors pick three spinners for the five-match series.
“Anything is quite possible with the selections for Tests and there might be a few surprises as well. Kuldeep is making a strong case for himself and so is (Yuzvendra) Chahal. And looking at the way, the English batsmen have struggled against them, we might be tempted to do the same,” Kohli expressed.
Meanwhile, the chinaman bowler Kuldeep also expressed his desire to play in whites after winning the Man of the Match for his brilliance with the ball. But, this can be a cause of worry for experienced test campaigners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravidra Jadeja.
