. Yoga asanas or postures works on muscles. While you hold on various postures it develops strength and flexibility. Meditation effects on brain has often mentioned by scientists, it decreases stress and depression at the same time increase happiness in life.
**Why Yoga?**
Yoga is the need of today's world. Yoga was practiced for spiritual development in past years but now we have learned its more than that. Yoga is beneficial for our body and mind, years of research and reports from doctors have proved yoga can heal many physical and mental illness. It stretches our muscles, improve flexibility and helps to control our mind. We get to know our nature better by meditation, it helps to control our emotions.

Many people who have adopted Yoga admitted that it has cured their Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertension, Indigestion, Back pain, Migraine, Heart disease, Spinal pains due to injuries and the list goes on. Even if you are not having any diseases practicing yoga can help you improve your eye sight, memory, tone your body, help in reducing weight, improves blood circulation and moreover you feel happy from inside, you'll find peace in yourself and it makes your life happy.
I thought of writing on yoga not just because I have read about it but also I have been doing yoga for quite some time now. I have seen a huge change in my behaviour and my attitude towards life has changed. I urge you guys to give it a try, start doing Yoga atleast for 30 minutes with simple asanas and you will surely notice change in yourself.
There is much more to talk about it but I decided to keep it short. In my next post I am going to introduce to you guys few easy Yoga Asanas for beginners, benefits of doing those asanas and the proper technique. Still expert advice is recommended as am not a certified teacher, am just trying to build your interest in Yoga.
